The best transfer squad in the Premier League summer 2020

Premier League clubs have spent more than £ 1.24 billion on player purchases in the summer of 2020 and here are the best rookie squads that just joined the Premier League.

Sun Sport newspaper selected the best rookie squad in the Premier League in the summer of 2020. Chelsea dominated by contributing 5 names spread evenly across the lines. Meanwhile, Liverpool, Man City, Arsenal, MU, Everton and Wolves all contribute only 1 person.

In defense, goalkeeper Edouard Mendy made a good impression at Chelsea in the early days of replacing Kepa Arrizabalaga. He kept a clean sheet in his Premier League debut and promised to bring peace of mind to Coach Lampard in the near future.

Chelsea also contributed two other players in the defense, midfielder Thiago Silva and left-back Ben Chilwell. Silva played well to help Chelsea win the Crystal Palace, and Chilwell became the third player to score and assist in his debut in the Premier League.

On the right wing, Nelson Semedo also impressed after joining Wolves from Barca for the club’s record price of £ 36.8 million. Meanwhile, Man City spent 64.5 million pounds to buy Ruben Dias from Benfica in the hope of patching bad players in the past.

In midfield, Arsenal rookie Thomas Partey is considered to be the top scanner, alongside Thiago Alcantara and attack-oriented James Rodriguez. Partey has yet to debut in the Premier League, and Thiago and James both left an impression in the first four rounds.

Thiago just played one game for Liverpool but broke the record for the number of passes in the first half against Chelsea. James was even better with 3 goals and 2 assists in his first four Premier League matches.

In the striker line, two Chelsea stars Kai Havertz and Timo Werner combined with MU’s Edinson Cavani.

Both Havertz and Werner have made their mark in the Premier League matches, while Cavani also promises to bring many goals for MU after what has performed in Napoli or PSG.
